Umpiring officials announced for 2016 WBSC Junior Men’s Softball World Championship

The World Baseball Softball Confederation Softball Director of Umpires, Bob Stanton, has appointed sixteen umpires from eleven countries to officiate in the 11th WBSC Jr. Men’s Softball World Championship in Midland, Michigan, USA later this year.

Officials will be represented from Australia, Botswana, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Israel, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, and USA.

The U-19 men’s event was last hosted in 2014 in Whitehorse, YK, Canada where Argentina earned gold, New Zealand claimed silver, and Japan bronze.
