FOR IMMEDIATE
RELEASE
24 April 2014
STATEMENT
International Baseball Federation President/World Baseball
Softball co-President Riccardo Fraccari issued the following statement
regarding the decision by the Little League Congress to align its age
determination calendar according to that of the IBAF (the International
Baseball Division of the World Baseball Softball Confederation):
"The WBSC is proud to serve as a guide for other organisations'
policy-making. As baseball and softball continue to spread globally, we
foresee -- and are fully prepared for -- an increased reliance on the
world governing body for uniformity."
